In September we said farewell and welcome back to staff.
Dr. Robert Carr resigned on September 30 as Coordinator of CARIMAC’s Graduate Programmes Unit. In the three years that he headed the Unit, Dr Carr led a revamping of its two MA programmes – Communication Studies and Communication for Social and Behaviour Change. As he takes up other duties, Dr Carr has offered to continue assisting CARIMAC and the Graduate Programmes Unit in the capacity of an advisor. Dr. Anthea Henderson has been appointed acting Coordinator of the GPU, effective October 1.
Drs. Marjan de Bruin, outgoing CARIMAC director and senior lecturer, returns from Study Leave (and extended leave) along with John Maxwell, adjunct lecturer, after John’s successful treatment for cancer in the Netherlands.
