CARIMAC alumnus and lecturer collab on historic publication

Champs 100 is the latest project of Michael Grant, CARIMAC adjunct lecturer. Grant, who edits the book, has partnered with CARIMAC alumnus Hubert Lawrence to produce a commemorative work that celebrates the ISSA/Grace Boys and Girls Athletics Championships in Jamaica.
The project involves the collaboration of sports historian/statistician Hubert Lawrence, writer/designer «GreetingLine», Grant who is the CEO of Great House OmniMedia Limited, and bestselling Jamaican author Colin Channer, the writer selected to write the introduction. A team of researchers will lead the effort to collect thousands of photographs, statistics and memorabilia from local and overseas archives and from private collections across the Diaspora. The material collected will serve as the core of the 400-page volume.
Champs 100 will be published in March 2010.
